There was a great turnout tonight for the North Hull Girls Football Festival.
Miss Fenton and Miss Brown were very impressed with all the girls who took part, and all the parents and children who came to support.
Well done everyone!

Star of the Week - Friday 12th June

Well done to our Stars of the Week this week!

What is it...?

This 'mysterious' object appeared in our classroom today...

...but what on earth could it be? And where did it come from? And what are those funny marks on the side? And why does it have a door?
Year 5 had lots of questions of their own.

What do you think the story behind it might be?! Comment below...

What a performance!

All week, each year group have been learning a piece of poetry and this morning was performance day! We all went out onto the amphitheatre and performed our poems. The teachers were very impressed with all the children, and our visitor from DRET also said she thought it was wonderful.
Which was your favourite poem?

Beware the Jabberwock!

As part of Poetry Week, the Year 6 children have been using clay and paint to create their own interpretation of what the Jabberwocky looks like, using just the language of the C.S. Lewis poem as inspiration.
What do you think of their work?

It's all 'Roman' to me!

These children were challenged to put together a 100 square jigsaw - with an added twist - it was written in Roman Numerals!

There's no 'I' in team!

Year 5 worked extremely hard in groups this morning identifying features in explanation texts, then improving them by adding features they thought should have been included.
