DRET Cup Powerpoint/Video

Endike come FIRST PLACE at the DRET Primary Cup!
After amazing performances by both the football and the netball teams, the points gained by both combined meant Endike were crowned first place in the DRET Primary Cup!
The cup took place at Havelock Academy in Grimsby and was attended by six of the trusts primary schools, including fellow Hull schools Wold and Ainthorpe.
The day started off with a welcome from Shane Ward, Sports Development Manager at DRET and a great performance from football freestyler Dan Magness.
Once the tournaments were underway, the teams had some tough matches, and the children in both the netball and the football teams had to show great determination to fight back from behind to gain points.
It was a nervy end to the day to see who was to be crowned the overall winner, as Endike Football team were announced in third place, and Endike Netball team in first place, but there were huge cheers from all when it was revealed the cup would be coming to Endike!!
The children all received a medal and a t-shirt to take home, and the school were also given a new sports kit.
Miss Fenton would like to say a huge congratulations to all the children who took part. All the staff involved are very proud of you!
